Game Picture League Picture

1.     Organiser

  1. The league is organized by Simrace.pl.
  2. The organizer uses the RaceNet/DiRTgame server and DiRT Rally 2.0  to conduct the rallies and relies on this software for running sessions. In particular, this applies to rally timing and disqualifying the drivers during the rally.
  3. The organizer is not responsible for any errors in the game or a possible disconnection of the user from the session, as well as the unavailability of the lobby servers.
  4. The organizer is a non-profit organization, or rather a group of enthusiasts who devote their time, and often money, to ensure that the website works efficiently, and the races and streams are at a high level.
  5. The donations are allocated to the maintenance of servers, and any surplus - if any - will be used for rewards.
  6. Any comments regarding a given league should be reported on the forum in the appropriate thread or the appropriate Discord channel.

 2.     Participation

  1. Anyone with an active Steam account linked to a RaceNet account can join the league
  2. Participation in the league is free and donations are voluntary.
  3. By subscribing to the website and / or to the league, you consent to the processing of data in order to run the league and user statistics.
  4. To participate in the rallies, one has to declare his valid Steam community nickname in order to correctly link his nickname with his first and last name. The organizer reserves any rights to verify selected participants in the multiplayer mode of the game. The Steam nickname cannot be changed during the season's duration, as it can cause problems in the results display page. Any participant that changes his Steam nickname during the season can be void of any of his points or even disqualified from the league.
  5. Signups are done through both the eSport.simrace.pl website and RaceNet, on the SimRace.pl club site

3.     Sim and rally settings

  1. The rally settings are supposed to simulate an actual rally and equalize each driver's chances.
  2. The sim settings enforce cockpit view and disable all assists, including traction control, stability control and ABS.
  3. Because of the low visibility during heavy rain and snowstorms, caused by low resolution effects on the car's windshield in-game, the organizer reserves the right to omit those conditions during the rally setup.

 4.     Rally calendar

  1. The calendar posted on the website will be in use.

 5.     Cars

  1. The 2000cc class of cars will be used throughout the championship.
  2. The chosen car will have to be used for the entire rally season. The game allows one to change the car used between rallies, but this will result in a disqualification should one do so.
  3. If a driver has not yet taken part in previous rounds, he will be allowed to change the car on the website or contact the organiser in order to change his car.

 6.   Teams

  1. The possibility of creating and joining teams will be unlocked after a 10PLN donation is made.
  2. The team may consist of up to 2 drivers.
  3. Teammates are to drive the same car model.
  4. Team liveries are free, since the other drivers will not be able to see each other's liveries.

7.     Rally organisation

     1. Rally days

  • The rallies will be divided into a certain amount of days (up to four), depending on the length of the rally. The goal is to match the setup of a WRC rally.
  • Each day will have a couple of special stages with varying time of day and weather conditions.
  • At the end of each rally day there will be a service area available to the drivers, in which they will be allowed to change the tires, set the car up and repair it. The service park duration will be dependent on the length of each rally day and will be set between 15 and 45 minutes.
  • Exceeding the maximum allowed repair time in the service zone will result in a time penalty added upon the total rally time and applied by the game. The organiser has no influence over this penalty.
  • The game allows the drivers to leave and continue the rally at a later date, provided they do so during the service zone and that the rally will be continued before the closure of that leg. The organiser is not responsible for any connection and/or hardware problems on the driver's end.

     2. Special stages

  • Each rally consists of several special stages, which are played out in a time trial manner. The final time of the rally is represented as times of each special stage added together.
  • On every special stage a driver gets only one shot at completing the stage. Any attempts at retrying the stages will result in a disqualification by the game from the entire rally.
  • During the run the game will penalize the following actions: driving into spectators, driving severely off the track, roadside repairs. The organiser has no infulence over this.

    3. Power stages

  • The final stage of every rally will be a Power Stage. This is a special rally stage, which is timed in the same manner as other stages, but also has its own scoring.
  • The goal of a Power Stage is to get back some points by drivers who suffered a failure or a crash at one of the early stages. This mimicks the official WRC Power Stage.

8.     Scoring

  1. For each raally, a driver is awarded a certain amount of points depending on their finishing position. The scoring can be seen on the “race points” tab on the website.
  2. The scoring mimicks the official WRC scoring. The organiser reserves the right to change the scoring depending on the popularity of the league.

9.  Penalties

  1. Any penalties either awarded during the run or in the service area, and also any disqualifications, are done by the game over which the organiser has no influence.
  2. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify certain drivers, if any attempts at cheating (successful or not) or sufficient evidence of doing so will be provided.

10.  General classification

  1. Points for rallies are awarded through the points system on the eSport website, not in the in-game RaceNet system. This means, that the point system seen on the club website will not be used and is considered to be obsolete.
  2. The winner of the season in each class is the driver with the most points. In the event of a tie, it is the player with the most wins (if there is a tie, the player with the most runners-up, etc.)
  3. The same rules apply to the team classification.

11.  Other

  1. The regulations may change during the season for important and justified reasons. Each introduced change is valid from the next round.
